Bexen Cardio strengthens cardioprotection in sports facilities in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
At Bexen Cardio, we continue to promote initiatives that help improve people’s safety and health in high-activity environments. In this context, we are collaborating with the Municipal Institute for the Promotion of Physical Activity and Sport of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council on a comprehensive cardioprotection project in municipal sports facilities.
A comprehensive cardioprotection project
The five-year project includes the supply, maintenance and management of a cardioprotection system involving the installation of 53 defibrillators with communications, through Sigfox and WiFi connectivity, as well as the training of around 200 people. This initiative provides sports facilities with the necessary means to act quickly and effectively in the event of cardiac arrest.
The deployment of connected defibrillators enables continuous monitoring of the status of the devices and their accessories, ensuring they remain operational at all times. This is complemented by a comprehensive maintenance service that guarantees the proper functioning of the devices throughout the entire life cycle of the project.
Training users is another key pillar of this initiative. Equipping sports facility staff with the skills to intervene in emergency situations strengthens the chain of survival and helps improve the response to critical events in environments where activity is constant.
This project highlights the value of collaboration between public administrations and healthcare technology manufacturers in building safer and better-prepared environments. Cardioprotection in sports facilities involves not only installing equipment, but also ensuring its availability, maintenance and the necessary knowledge for its use.
At Bexen Cardio, we continue to support institutions in the development of comprehensive solutions that help improve people’s safety, placing technology and service at the service of life.
